AN ORDINANCE AMENDING ORDINANCE NO. 482 OF THE COUNTY OF HAWAII
ADOPTED ON OCTOBER 17, 1979, AS AMENDED BY ORDINANCE NO. 511
ADOPTED ON DECEMBER 19, 1979, AS FURTHER AMENDED BY ORDINANCE NO.
550 ADOPTED ON MAROH 5, 1980, AND FURTHER AMENDED BY ORDINANCE
NO. 562 A33OPTE'D ON APRIL 30, 1980, R~,ATING TO THE ISSUANCE OF
$9,500,000 IN GENERAL OBLIGATION BONDS.
BE IT ORDAINED BY THE COUNCIL OF THE COUNTY OF HAWAII:
SECTION 1. Section 8 of Ordinance No. 482 adopted on October
17, 1979, as amended by Ordinance No. 511 adopted on December 19,
1979, as further amended by Ordinance No. 550 adopted on March 5,
1980, and further amended by Ordinance No. 5Fi2 adopted on April
30, 1980, is amended to read as follows:
"SECTION 8. The proceeds from the issuance and sale
of General Obligation Bonds of the County of Hawaii or
any notes in anticipation of the Bonds in the principal
amount of $9,500,000 shall be [expended and/or encumbered
for the sole] utilized for the purpose of financing [those]
a,ny public improvements authorized and set forth in this
section [in accordance with their listing priority).

SECTION 2. Proceeds from the issuance and sale of the
heretofore unissued and unsold bonds authorized by Ordinance No.
482, as amended b Ordinance Nos. 511,550 and 56.2, ma be used to
finance ublic im rovements authorized in Ordinance No. 586 as
amended, the Ca ital Bud et Ordinance for the fiscal ear endin
June 30, 1981, in addition to the ublic im rovements set forth
in Section 8 of Ordinance No. 482 as amended."
SECTION 3. Material to be repealed is bracketed. New
material is underscored. In printing this ordinance, the brackets,
bracketed material and underscoring need not be included.
SECTION 4. This ordinance shall take effect upon its
approval.
