ORDINANCE NO. ~~~
AN ORDINANCE AMENDING CHAPTER 2, ARTICLE 10, SECTION 7 OF THE
HAWAT I COUNTY CODE RELATING TO COUNTY VET-~ICLE TAXES .
BE IT ORDAINED BY THE COUNCIL OF THE COUNTY OF HAWAII:
SECTION 1. Chapter 2, Article 10, Section 7 of the Hawaii
County Code is amended by adding a new sub-section to read as
follows:
"SECTION 7.05 NUMBER PLATE RESERVATIONS. During the
period from December 15, 1980 through December 30, 1980,
the Director of Finance may accept reservation of number
plates, provided that such privilege does not unduly
interfere, impede or obstruct the normal work of the
Treasury Division in licensing motor vehicles.
A. The Director of Finance may limit the number of
plates available for reservation.
B. Plate reservations must be made in person or by a
representative at the licensing office.
C. All documents required for motor vehicle registra-
lion must be submitted at time of reservation and all taxes
and fees must be paid.
D. In addition to above fees, a special handling
charge of tan dollars ($10.00) will be assessed."
SECTION 2. This ordinance shall take effect upon its
approval.
