ORDINANCE NO.
AN ORDINANCE AMENDING SiECTION 7.27 (THE WAIOHINU ZONE MAP),
ARTICLE 2, CHAPTER 8 (ZONING CODE) OF THE HAWAII COUNTY CODE, AS
AMENDED, TO CONFOR14; WITH THE COUNTY OF HAWAII GENERAL PLAN, AS
A14ENDED ON JULY 5, 1979, BY CHANGING THE DISTRICT CLASSIFICA'T'ION
FROM RESORT MOTEL (V-1.5) TO VILLAGE COMMERCIAL (CV -20) AT WAIOHINU,
KA'U, HAWAII.
HE IT ORDAINED BY THE COUNCIL OF THE COUNTY OF HAWAII:
SECTION 1. Section 7.27, Article 2, Chapter 8 (Zoning Code),
of the Hawaii. County Code, as amended, is further amended to add a
new subsection, to read as follows:
117.27 ( b ). The district classification of the
approximately 3.86 acres of land situated at Waiohinu,
Ka'u, Hawaii, covered by Tax Map Key: 9@5-01:portion of
25, 30 & portion of 44, shall be Village Commercial
(CV -20) .
The area is further described as being along the
north side of Mamalahoa Highway between Mission Road on
the west and Waiohinu Park on the east.
All as outlined in red on the map attached hereto,
marked Exhibit "A" and by reference made a part hereof."
SECTION 2. In the event that any portion of this ordinance
is declared invalid, such invalidity shall not affect the other
parts of this ordinance.
SECTION 3. This ordinance shall take effect upon its approval.
