HomeMy WebLinkAboutORD 1982-767 1980-1984BILL NO. 823 COUNTY OF HAWAII - STATE OF HAWAII ORDINANCE N(~,- - ~~ AN ORDINANCE AMENDING CHAPTER 6 OF THE HAWAII COUNTY CODE, AS AMENDED, RELATING TO TRAFFIC REGULATIONS. BE IT ORDAINED BY THE COUNCIL OF THE COUNTY OF HAWAII: SECTION 1. Section 1-D, Article 6, Chapter 6, of the Hawaii County Code is amended by amending item 6 to read as follows: "6. [In front of the Keaau Police Station] RESERVED." SECTION 2. Section 3-B, Article 7, Chapter 6, of the Hawaii County Code is amended by amending item 61 of the South Hilo classification in Schedule 2 to read as follows: "61. PUA AVENUE, from Kalanianaole Street to Lyman Avenue." SECTION 3. Section 1-A, Article 12, Chapter 6, of the Hawaii County Code is amended by amending item 2 of the Kona classification in Schedule 7 to read as follows: "2. [Mamalahoa Highway, in Kainaliu, in front of the Kona Mission School] DT.'C~'DC7L`T1 ~~ SECTION 4. Section 8-B, Article 15, Chapter 6, of the Hawaii County Code is amended by adding new items to the South Hilo classification of Schedule 12 to read as follows: "130. The Hamakua side of Waianuenue Avenue, fronting the Hilo Methodist Church, from 7:OU a.m. to 6:00p m•' exce t on Saturdays, Sundays, and Holidays. "131. Puueo Street, mauka side, beginning at Ohai Street and extending 75 feet in the Hamakua direction. " __z.. SECTION 5. Section 4-B, Article 16, Chapter 6, of the Hawaii County Code is amended by adding items to the South Hilo classification of Schedule 15 to read as follows: "24. Waianuenue Avenue, east side, --- beginning from a oint 60 feet mauka of the Halai Street intersection, and extending in the makai direction for a distance of 40 feet. "25. Waianuenue Avenue, west side, beginning from a op int 50 feet makai of the entrance~to the Church of God, and extending in the mauka direction __ for a distance of 40 feet. "26. Kekuanaoa Street, south side, beginning from a oint 137 feet east of the Kilauea Avenue intersection, and extending in the eastern direction for a distance~of 50 feet." SECTION b. Material to be repealed is bracketed. New material is underscored. In printing this ordinance, the brackets, bracketed material and underscoring need not be included. SECTION 7. In the event any portion of this ordinance is declared invalid, such invalidity shall not affect other parts of this ordinance. SECTION 8.
