COUNTY OF HAWAII - STATE OF HAWAII
ORDINANCE NO.;,. ~~~
AN ORDINANCE AMENDING ARTICLE 2, CHAPTER 3, OF THE HAWAII COUNTY CODE,
AS AMENDED, RELATING TO INTOXICATING LIQUORS IN PUBLIC PLACES.
BE IT ORDAINED BY THE COUNCIL OF THE COUNTY OF HAWAII:
SECTION 1. Section 6.02, Article 2, Chapter 3 of the Hawaii
County Code is amended by amending Subsection E to read as follows:
"E. All of the following public areas:
1. All public areas, except Coconut Island located on the
Banyan Peninsula, being that area makai of Kamehameha
Avenue-Kalanianaole Avenue from the Wailoa River estuary
to the [Steak "N" Lobster] Reeds Bay Restaurant.
2. Mooheau Park
[3. Hilo Bayfront Park]
[4] 3. Clem A. Akina Park and Pavilion
[5] 4. Kailua Playground
[6] 5. Kalakaua Park
[7] 6. Kaumana Caves
[8] 7. Lincoln Park and Tennis Court
[9] 8. Villa Franca (Keikiland and triangle bounded by
Kinoole Street, Hoku Street and Mauna Kea Street)"
SECTION 2. Section 6.03, Article 2, Chapter 3, of the Hawaii
County Code, as amended, is amended by adding the following
subsections:
"R, Hilo Bay Front Park
S. Haina Park
T. Honokaa Park Complex
U. Honokaa Rodeo Arena"
SECTION 3. In the event that any portion of this ordinance is
declared invalid, such invalidity shall not affect the other parts of
this ordinance.
SECTION 4. Material to be repealed is bracketed. New material is
underscored. In printing this ordinance, the brackets, bracketed
material and underscoring need not be included.
SECTION 5. This ordinance shall take effect upon its approval.
