ORDINANCE NO, S3 S
AN ORDINANCE AMENDING SECTION 25-133,. ARTICLE 5, CHAPTER 25
(ZONING CODE) OF THE HAWAII COUNTY CODE 1983, AS AMENDED,
RELATING TO DOUBLE FAMILY RESIDENTIAL DISTRICTS (RD).
BE IT ORDAINED BY THE COUNCIL OF THE COUNTY OF HAWAII:
SE CTIDN 1. Section 25-133, Article 5, Chapter 25 of the
Hawaii County Code 1983 is amended to read as follows:
"Section 25-133. OTHER REGULATIONS.
(a) [There shall be no more than two dwelling units
erected on any building site in an RD district.]
There may be more than one sin le family
dwelling on each building site provided there is
not less than the required minimum building site
area for each dwelling.
(b) There shall be at least fifteen feet between
[two single family dwellings] each dwelling on
the same building site in an RD district.
[(c) If any legal building site in any RD district
has an area of less than six thousand five
hundred square feet, then the use of the site is
limited to one dwelling unit.]
[(d)](c) location of required off-street parking shall be
the same as specified for RS districts."
SECTION 2. Material to be repealed is bracketed. New
material is underscored. In printing this ordinance, the
brackets, bracketed material and underscoring need not be
included.
SECTION 3. In the event that any portion of this
ordinance is declared invalid, such invalidity shall not affect
the other parts of this ordinance.
