ORDINANCE N0. S3 17
AN ORDINANCE AMENDING ORDINANCE NO. 896 RELATING TO PUBLIC
IMPROVEMENTS AND FINANCING THEREOF FOR THE FISCAL YEAR JULY 1,
1983 TO JUNE 30, 1984.
BE IT ORDAINED BY THE COUNCIL OF THE COUNTY OF HAWAII:
SECTION 1. Ordinance No. 896, relating to public improve-
ments and financing thereof for the fiscal year July 1, 1983 to
June 30, 1984, is hereby amended by adding two sections, to read
as follows:
"Section 3.
a. The following projects are hereby appropriated, with
funds to be provided from the proceeds of general obligation
bond Series 80-A (Ordinance No. 900). The sum of $45,000,
of the $195,000 designated for Fire Radio Communications -
Buildings, shall be funded from the General Fund Building
R 6 M account (010-171-5171.22-110).
1. Kilauea Avenue (POnahawai/MOhouli S 40,000
2. Hualalai Road (N. Kona) 250,000
3. Hilo Wastewater System 90,000
4. Handicapped Sidewalk Ramps -
Islandwide 40,000
5. Pahala Swimming Pool 100,000
6. Waimea Sr. Citizen Center -
Renovations 40,000
7. Fire Radio Communications -
Buildings 195,000
8. Helicopter Hangar (Fire) 60,000
9. Holualoa Community Center
Improvements 25,000
$840,000
b. The following project is hereby appropriated with
funding to continue from the proceeds of bond issue series
82-A•
Volcano Community Center
$65,000"
SECTION 2. Material to be repealed is bracketed. New
material is underscored. In printing this ordinance, the
brackets, bracketed material and underscoring need not be
included.
SECTION 3. In the event that any portion of the ordinance
is declared invalid, such invalidity shall not affect other parts
of this ordinance.
