ORDINANCE NO.c73 30
AN ORDINANCE AMENDING ARTICLE 10, CHAPTER 24, OFTHE HAWAII
COUNTY CODE 1983, RELATING TO TRAFFIC REGULATIONS.
BE IT ORDAINED BY THE COUNCIL OF THE COUNTY OF HAWAII:
SECTION 1. Section 24-264, Division 2, Article 10,
Chapter 24, of the Hawaii County Code 1983, is amended by
adding a new item under subsection (b) to read as follows:
"(18) Entering the intersection of Kalanikoa and Kuawa
Streets from all approaches."
SECTION 2. Section 24-266, Division 2, Article 10,
Chapter 24, of the Hawaii County Code 1983, is amended by
amending subsection (c), item (27), to read as follows:
"(27) Kalanikoa Street, from Lanikaula Street to
Piilani Street, except at Kekuanaoa Street."
SECTION 3. Section 24-266, Division 2, Article 10,
Chapter 24, of the Hawaii County Code 1983, is amended by
amending subsection (c), item (43), to read as follows:
"(43) [Kuawa Street, from Manono Street to Kanoelehua
Avenue.] RESERVED."
SECTION 4. Section 24-279, Division 5, Article 10,
Chapter 24, of the Hawaii County Code 1963, is amended by
adding a new item under subsection (a) to read as follows:
"(4) The Old Mamalahoa Highway, mauka side, beginnin
at the Plantation Road and ending at the unnamed
roadway leading into Onomea Park Subdivision."
SECTION 5. Material to be repealed is bracketed. New
material is underscored. In printing this ordinance, the
brackets, bracketed material and underscoring need not be
included.
SECTION 6. If any provision of this ordinance or the
application thereof to any person or circumstance is held
invalid, such invalidity shall not affect other provisions
or applications of the ordinance which can be given effect
without the invalid provision or application, and to this
end, the provisions of this ordinance are declared to be
severable.
SECTION 7. This ordinance shall take effect upon its
approval.
