BILL No. 960 COUNTY OF HAWAII - STATE OF HAWAII ORDINANCE NO. `+M~+ AN ORDINANCE AMENDING CHAPTER 6 OF THE HAWAII COUNTY CODE, AS AMENDED, RELATING TO TRAFFIC REGULATIONS. BE IT ORDAINED BY THE COUNCIL OF THE COUNTY OF HAWAII: SECTION 1. Section 3-A-4, Article 15, Chapter 6, of the Hawaii County Code is amended by amending item 1 of the South Hilo classification of Schedule 9 to read as follows: "1. [On both sides of] Waianuenue Avenue from a point 240 feet east (makai) [or] of Laimana Street to [Punawai] Halai Street between the hours of 7:15 a.m. and 8:00 a.m. on school days." SECTION 2. Section 8-B, Article 15, Chapter 6, of the Hawaii County Code is amended by amending item 58 of the South Hilo classification of Schedule 12 to read as follows: "58. [Hamakua side of Waianuenue Avenue makai of Kaumana Drive intersection to Punawai Street] Reserved." SECTION 3. Section 8-B, Article 15, Chapter 6, of the Hawaii County Code is amended by amending item 67 of the South Hilo classification of Schedule 12 to read as follows: "67. [Waianuenue Avenue, on the north side from Punawai Street to Halai Street, from 7:15 a.m. to 8:15 a.m. on school days, and from 4:00 p.m. to 5:00 p.m., except on Saturdays, Sundays and holidays] Reserved." SECTION 4. Section 8-B, Article 15, Chapter 6, of the Hawaii County Code is amended by amending item 71 of the South Hilo classification of Schedule 12 to read as follows: "71. [On the Hamakua side of] Waianuenue Avenue, from Kaumana Drive to Halai Street." ,.„~ SECTION 5. Section 8-B, Article 15, Chapter 6, of the Hawaii County Code is amended by amending item 95 of the South Hilo classification of Schedule 12 to read as follows: "95. [On the Puna side of] Kaumana Drive, Puna side, from Ainako Avenue to [Waianuenue Avenue Lele Street between 7:00 a.m. and 8:00 a.m., except Saturdays, Sundays and public holidays." SECTION 6. Section 8-B, Article 15, Chapter 6, of the Hawaii County Code is amended by amending item 96 of the South Hilo classification of Schedule 12 to read as follows: "96. [Punawai Street between 7:00 a.m. and 8:00 a.m., except Saturdays, Sundays and public holidays] Reserved." SECTION 7. Section 8-B, Article 15, Chapter 6, of the Hawaii County Code is amended by adding a new item to the South Hilo classifcation of Schedule 12 to read as follows: "134. Kaumana Drive, Puna side, from Lele Street to Waianuenue Avenue." SECTION 8. Material to be repealed is bracketed. New material is underscored. In printing this ordinance, the brackets, bracketed material and underscoring need not be included. SECTION 9. In the event any portion of this ordinance is declared invalid, such invalidity shall not affect other parts of this ordinance. SECTION 10.
