COUNTY OF HAWAII - STATE OF HAWAII
ORDINANCE N0; 9D~_
AN ORDINANCE AMENDING ARTICLE 26, CHAPTER 8 (ZONING CODE) OF THE
HAWAII COUNTY CODE, AS AMENDED, RELATING TO SUPPLEMENTARY YARD
REGULATIONS.
BE IT ORDAINED BY THE COUNCIL OF THE COUNTY OF HAWAII:
SECTION 1. Section 4.D., Article 26, Chapter 8 of the Hawaii
County Code is amended to read as follows:
"Sec. D. On any corner building site [both], the interior
lines shall be side lot lines and [the rear yard
shall be the area inscribed within an arc the
center of which is the interior corner of the
building site and the radius of which is equal
to the depth of the required rear yard for the
district in which located] alt rear yard
regulations shall be inapplicable."
SECTION 2. Material to be repealed is bracketed. New material
is underscored. in printing this ordinance, the brackets, bracketed
material and underscoring need not be included.
SECTION 3, in the event that any portion of this ordinance is
declared invalid, such invalidity shall not affect the other parts
of this ordinance.
SECTION 4. This ordinance shall take effect upon its approval.
