ORDINANCE NO. 85 ~
AN ORDINANCE AMENDING CHAPTER 24, ARTICLE 10, DIVISION 5,
SECTION 24-280, SCHEDULE 28, OF THE HAWAII COUNTY CODE 1983,
RELATING TO TRAFFIC REGULATIONS.
BE ZT ORDAINED BY THE COUNCIL OF THE COUNTY OF HAWAII:
SECTION 1. Purpose. The purpose of this ordinance is to
eliminate traffic congestion at the entrance of the Kailua Bay
Wharf by creating a No Parking zone on the access road to the
Kailua Bay Wharf.
SECTION 2. Chapter 24, Article 10, Division 5,
Section 24-280, Schedule 28, of the Hawaii County Code 1983, is
amended by adding a new item to read as follows:
"( ) Access road to the Kailua Bay Wharf at the
northern terminus of Alii Drive, also known as Kaahumanu
Place."
SECTIOP7 3. In the event that any portion of the ordinance is
declared invalid, such invalidity shall not affect the other parts
of this ordinance.
SECTION 4. This ordinance shall take effect upon its approval.
