ORDINANCE NO. 85 45
AN ORDINANCE AMENDING CHAPTER 24, ARTICLE 10, OF THE HAWAII
COUNTY CODE 1983 RELATING TO TRAFFIC REGULATIONS.
BE IT ORDAINED BY THE COUNCIL OF THE COUNTY OF HAWAII:
SECTION 1. Chapter 24, Article 10, Section 24-280,
Schedule 28, subsection (d) Kona, is amended to read as follows:
"(7) Alii Drive in Kailua-Kona, mauka side, between
Kailua Bay Wharf and Hualalai Road, except for those marked
[stalls] Freight Loading Zones in the vicinities of the
Mokuaikaua Church and the [Kona Inn] Kona Galley."
SECTION 2. Chapter 24, Article 10, Section 24-288,
Schedule 36, is amended by adding a new subsection to be
appropriately designated and to read as follows:
"( ) Alii Drive, in Kailua-Kona, mauka side, in the
vicinity of the Kona Galley."
SECTION 3. Material to be repealed is bracketed. New
material is underscored. In printing this ordinance, the
brackets, bracketed material and underscoring need not be
included.
SECTIUN 4. If any provision of this ordinance or the
application thereof to any person or circumstance is held
invalid, such invalidity shall not affect other provisions or
applications of the ordinance which can be given effect without
the invalid provision or application, and to this end, the
provisions of this ordinance are declared to be severable.
SECTION 5. This ordinance shall take effect upon its
approval.
