ORDINANCE NO. 85 62
AN ORDINANCE AMENDING CHAPTER 24, ARTICLE 10, DIVISION 3,
SECTION 24-275, SCHEDULE 23, OF THE HAWAII COUNTY CODE 1983,
RELATING TO TRAFFIC REGULATIONS.
BE IT ORDAINED BY THE COUNCIL OF THE COUNTY OF HAWAII:
SECTION 1. Purpose. The purpose of this ordinance is to
designate as a bus stop an existing paved area of Sarona Road which
is not required for through traffic.
SECTION 2. Chapter 24, Article 10, Division 3, Section 24-275,
Schedule 23, of the Hawaii County Code 1983, is amended by adding a
new item to read as follows:
"( ) Sarona Road, Kau Side, beginning from a point
160 feet mauka of Alii Drive and extending 120 feet in a
mauka direction."
SECTION 3. In the event that any portion of the ordinance is
declared invalid, such invalidity shall not affect the other parts
of this ordinance.
SECTION 4. This ordinance shall take effect upon its approval.
