ORDINANCE NO. 85 71
AN ORDINANCE AMENDING CHAPTER 24, ARTICLE 10, OF THE HAWAII
COUNTY CODE 1983, RELATING TO TRAFFIC REGULATIONS.
BE IT ORDAINED BY THE COUNCIL OF THE COUNTY OF HAWAII:
SECTION 1. Chapter 24, Article 10, Section 24-275(a)(12),
Schedule 23, relating to bus stops, is amended to read as follows:
"12. Mohouli Street, Hamakua side, beginning at a point three
hundred eighty feet mauka of Kilauea Avenue and extending
in the mauka direction of one hundred feet, from
7:00 a.m, to 8:00 a.m. and from [1:30] 1:00 p.m. to
2:30 p.m. on school days."
SECTION 2. Chapter 24, Article 10, Section 24-287,
Schedule 35, relating to passenger loading zones, is hereby amended
as follows:
"16. [On the Hamakua side of Haili Street at the entrance to
Palace Theater.] RESERVED.
"17. [On the Puna side of Mamo Street at the entrance to
Mamo Theater.] RESERVED."
SECTION 3. Material to be repealed is bracketed. New
material is underscored. In printing this ordinance, the
brackets, bracketed material, and underscoring need not be
included.
SECTION 4. If any provision of this ordinance or the
application thereof to any person or circumstance is held invalid,
such invalidity shall not affect other provisions or applications
of the ordinance which can be given effect without the invalid
provision or application, and to this end, the provisions of this
ordinance are declared to be severable.
