ORDINANCE NO. 85 A4
AN ORDINANCE AMENDING CHAPTER 24 OF THE HAWAII COUNTY CODE 1983
RELATING TO AMENDMENT OF TRAFFIC CODE.
BE IT OkDAZNED BY THE COUNCIL OF THE COUNTY OF HAWAII:
SECTION 1. Chapter 24, Article 10, Section 24-276,
Schedule 24, under subsection (c) South Hilo, of the Hawaii County
Code 1583, is amended by adding the following item to read as
follows:
"( ) Kinoole Street, six hundred feet Hamakua of Hualalai
Street."
SECTION 2. Chapter 24, Article 10, Section 24-280,
Schedule 28, under subsection (c) South Hilo, of the Hawaii County
Code 1583, is amended to read as follows:
"(77) Kinoole Street, [seventy-five] one hundred twenty-five
feet on the Puna side and [fifty] two hundred twenty-five feet on
the Hamakua side of Hilo Lanes road exit."
SECTION 3. Chapter 24, Article 10, Section 24-280,
Schedule 28, under subection (c) South Hilo, of the Hawaii County
Code 1983, is amended by adding the following item to read as
follows:
"( ) Kinoole Street, mauka side, beginning at a point four
hundred sixty-five feet Hamakua of Hualalai Street and extending
four hundred ten feet in the Hamakua direction."
SECTION 4. Material to be repealed is bracketed. New
material is underscored. In printing this ordinance, the
brackets, bracketed material, and underscoring need not be
included.
SECTION 5. If any provision of this ordinance or the
application thereof to any person or circumstance is held invalid,
such invalidity shall not affect other provisions or applications
of the ordinance which can be given effect without the invalid
provision or application, and to this end, the provisions of this
ordinance are declared to be severable.
SECTION 6. This ordinance shall take effect upon its
approval.
