ORDINANCE NO. '~ ~~
AN ORDINANCE AMENDING CHAPTER 24 OF THE HAWAII CGUNTY CODE 1983
RELATING TO AMENDMENT OF TRAFFIC CODE.
BE IT ORDAINED BY THE COUNCIL OF THE COUNTY OF HAWAII:
SECTION 1. Chapter 24, Article 10, Section 29-276,
Schedule 24, under subsection (c) South Hilo, of the Hawaii County
Code 1983, is amended by adding the following item to read as
follows:
"( ) Kamehameha Avenue, two hundred fifty feet Hamakua of
Kumu Street."
SECTION 2. Chapter 24, Article 10, Section 24-276,
Schedule 24, under subsection (f) Kona, of the Hawaii County
Code 1983, is amended to read as follows:
"(20) Mamalahoa Highway, in front of the [Kealakekua Branch
of the Hawaii County Library] Central Kona Union Church."
SECTION 3. Chapter 24, Article 10, Section 24-280,
Schedule 28, under subsection (c) South Hilo, of the Hawaii County
Code 1983, is amended by adding the following item to read as
follows:
"( ) Kamehameha Avenue, beginning at Kumu Street and
extending five hundred five feet in the Hamakua direction."
SECTION 4. Chapter 24, Article 10, Section 24-287,
Schedule 35, of the Hawaii County Code 1983, is amended as follows:
"(9) [Mauro Street at:
(a) Punahoa Street.] RESERVED."
SECTION 5. Material to be repealed is bracketed. New
material is underscored. In printing this ordinance, the
brackets, bracketed material, and underscoring need not be
included.
SECTION 6. If any provision of this ordinance or the
application thereof to any person or circumstance is held invalid,
such invalidity shall not affect other provisions or applications
of the ordinance which can be given effect without the invalid
provision or application, and to this end, the provisions of this
ordinance are declared to be severable.
SECTION 7. This ordinance shall take effect upon its
approval.
