HomeMy WebLinkAboutORD 1986-072 1984-1988COUNTY OF HAWAII STATE OF HAWAII BILL NO. 190 ORDINANCE NO. 86 ~2 AN ORDINANCE AMENDING CHAPTER 24, ARTICLE 10, OF THE HAWAII COUNTY CODE 1983, RELATING TO TRAFFIC REGULATIONS. BE IT ORDAINED BY THE COUNCIL OF THE COUNTY OF HAWAII: SECTION 1. Chapter 24, Article 10, Section 24-267, Schedule 15, subsections 20, 21, and 22, relating to one way streets, of the Hawaii County Code 1983, is amended to read as follows: "(20) Pakalana Street in Honokaa, Hamakua. All vehicular traffic on Pakalana Street between Kukui Street and Kamani Street shall move only in one direction from Kukui Street to Kamani Street between the hours of 7:30 a.m. to 8:15 a.m. and (1:30] 1:00 p.m. to 2:30 p.m. during regular school days of the Honokaa High and Elementary School. "(21) Paauilo School Road. All vehicular traffic shall move only from the mauka to maKai direction between the Paauilo School Park Road and Mamalahoa Highway during the hours of 7:30 a.m. to 8:15 a.m, and [1:30] 1:00 p.m. to 2:30 p.m. on school days. "(22) Paauilo School Park Road. All vehicular traffic shall move only from the Hamakua to Hilo (Direction] direction between the Paauilo Homestead Road and the Paauilo School Road during the hours [at] of 7:30 a.m. to 8:15 a.m. and [1:30] 1:00 p.m. to 2:30 p.m. on school days." SECTION 2. Material to be repealed is bracketed. New material is underscored. In printing this ordinance, the brackets, bracketed material, and underscoring need not be included. SECTION 3. If any provision of this ordinance or the application thereof to any person or circumstance is held invalid, such invalidity shall not affect other provisions or applications of the ordinance which can be given effect without the invalid provision or application, and to this end, the provisions of this ordinance are declared to be severable. SECTION 4. This ordinance shall take effect upon its approval.
