ORDINANCE NO. 86 73
AN ORDINANCE Fu~1ENDING CHAPTER 24, ARTICLE 10, OF THE HAWAII
COUNTY CODE 1983, RELATING TO TRAFFIC REGULATIONS.
BE IT ORDAINED BY THE COUNCIL OF THE COUNTY OF HAWAII:
SECTION 1. Chapter 24, Article 10, Division 5,
Section 24-280(c), Schedule 28 (No Parking Anytime), of the Hawaii
County Code 1983, is amended by adding a new item under
subsection (c), Soutn Hilo, to be appropriately numbered and to
read as follows:
"_ Kaumana Drive, from Waianuenue Avenue to

SECTION 2. Chapter 24, Article 10, Division 5,
Section 24-280(c), Schedule 28 (No Parking Anytime), of the Hawaii
County Code 1983, is amended by deleting subsections (54), (55),
and (56), under South Hilo.
"[(54) Kaumana Drive, Puna side, beginning at Punahele
Street and extending one hundred twenty-five feet in
the makai direction.
(55) Kaumana Drive, Puna side, from Ainako Avenue to Lele
Street between 7:00 a.m. and 8:00 a.m., except
Saturdays, Sundays, and holidays.
(56) Kaumana Drive, Puna side, from Lele Street to
Waianuenue Avenue.]"
SECTION 3. Chapter 24, Article 10, Division 5,
Section 24-281(b), Schedule 29 (No Farking Anytime), of the Hawaii
County Code 1983, is amended by deleting subsection (5) under (b),
South Hilo.
"[5. Kaumana Drive, Puna side, from Ainako Avenue
to Waianuenue Avenue between 7:00 a.m. and
8:00 a.m. except Saturdays, Sundays and
public holidays.]"
SECTION 4. Material to be repealed is bracketed. New
material is underscored. In printing this ordinance, the
brackets, bracketed material, ana underscoring need not be
included.
SECTION 5. If any provision of this ordinance or the
application thereof to any person or circumstance is held invalid,
such invalidity shall not affect other provisions or applications
of the ordinance which can be given effect without the invalid
provision or application, and to this end, the provisions of this
ordinance are declared to be severable.
SECTION 6. This ordinance shall take effect upon its
approval.
