AN ORDINANCE TO AMEND ORDINANCE N0. 85-51, AS AMENGED, RELATING TO
PUBLIC IMPROVEMENTS AND FINANCING THEREOF FOR THE FISCAL YEAR
JULY 1, 1985 TO JUNE 30, 1986.
BE IT ORDAINED BY THE COUNCIL OF THE COUNTY OF HAWAII:
SECTION 1. Purpose. It is the intent of this ordinance to
accommodate the recommendation of the Auditor's Report to close the
Hilo Sewer Fund III-A, the Kulaimano Sewer System Fund and the
Kawaihae-Puako Sewer System Fund and to consolidate them into the
Public Improvement Bond Fund in order to simplify accounting and
reporting requirements.
SECTION 2. Section 2 of Ordinance No. 85-51, as amended, is
hereby amended by increasing the appropriations for the following
projects:

110-699-5691.51-115 Hilo Wastewater System $ 86 619.17
110-699-5696.14-115 Kona Sewerage System 25,000.00
Total
$111,619.17
SECTION 3. Funds for these projects shall be provided from the
unappropriated fund balances and unencumbered project balances of
the Hilo Sewer Fund III-A, Kulaimano Sewer System and the
Kawaihae-Puako Sewer System funds.
SECTION 4. This ordinance shall take effect upon its approval.
