ORDINANCE NO. ~' 11:8
AN ORDINAPICE AMENDING CHAPTER 24, ARTICLE 10, DIVISION 3,
SECTION 24-275, SCHEDULE 23, SUBSECTION (a), HAWAII COUNTY
CODE 1983, RELATING TO BUS STOP LOCATIONS.
BE IT ORDAINED BY THE COUNCIL OF THE COUNTY OF HAWAII:
SECTION 1. Chapter 24, Article 10, Division 3, Section
24-275, Schedule 23, under subsection (a), South Hilo,
Hawaii County Code 1983, relating to bus stop location, is
amended to delete items 7, 13, and 17:
"[(7) Kilauea Avenue, mauka side, beginning frcm
the Puna side of the Hawaii County Employees Federal
Credit Union driveway and extending in the Puna direction
for a distance of one hundred twenty feet, from 6:00
a.m. to 6:00 p.m., Monday through Saturday.]"
"[(13) Pauahi Street, Hamakua side, beginning
from a point three hundred forty feet makai of Kilauea
Avenue and extending eighty feet in the makai direction
from 6:00 a.m. to 6:00 p.m., Mondays through Saturdays.]"
"[(17) Waianuenue Avenue, Hamakua side, begin-
ning from Kekaulike Street and extending ninety feet in
the mauka direction.]"
SECTION 2. Material to be repealed is bracketed. In
printing this ordinance, the brackets and bracketed material
need not be included.
SECTION 3. If any provision of this ordinance or the
application thereof to any person or circumstances is held
invalid, such invalidity shall not affect other provisions
or applications of the ordinance which can be given effect
without the invalid provision or application, and to this
end, the provisions of this ordinance are declared to be
severable.
SECTION 4. This ordinance shall take effect 14 days
after its approval.
