ORDINANCE NO. 86 155
AN ORDINANCE AMENDING CHAPTER 24, ARTICLE 10, OF ,THE HAWAII
COUNTY CGDE 1983, RELATING TO TRAFFIC REGULATIONS.
BE IT ORDAINED BY THE COUNCIL OF THE COUNTY OF HAWAII:
SECTION 1. Chapter 24, article 10, section 24-280(28),
schedule 28 (no parking at anytime), is amended by amending
item (28) under (d), Kona, to read as follows:
"(28) Hanama Place, from its terminus to a
point one hundred eighty feet in the southerly
direction, except the fifty-five foot section on the
makai side fronting the Kailua Trade Center."
SECTION 2. Chapter 24, article 10, section 24-280,
schedule 28 (no parking anytime), is amended by adding a new
item under (d),

schedule 24 (crosswalks), is amended by
deleting item 9 under (c), South Hilo:
"[(9) Kaumana Drive, makai of Chong Street.]"
SECTION 4". Material to be repealed is bracketed. New
material is underscored. In printing this ordinance, the
brackets, bracketed material, and underscoring need not be
included.
SECTION 5. Severability. If any provision of this
ordinance, or the application thereof to any person or
circumstance, is held invalid, the invalidity does not
affect other provisions or applications of the ordinance
which can be given effect without the invalid provision or
application, and to this end the provisions of this
ordinance are severable.
SECTION 6. Effective date. This ordinance shall take
effect upon its approval.
