AN ORDINANCE AMENDING CHAPTER 24, ARTICLE 10, OF THE HAWAII COUNTY
CODE 1983, RELATING TO TRAFFIC REGULATIONS.
BE IT ORDAINED BY THE COUNCIL OF THE COUNTY OF HAWAII:
SECTION 1. Chapter 24, Article 10, Division 5,
Section 24-281, Schedule 29, relating to parking prohibited during
certain hours, is amended by adding another item under (b) South
Hilo, to be appropriately designated and to read as follows:
"( ) Mohouli Street, on the Puna side, those three metered
stalls mauka of Kilauea Avenue between 7:00 a.m. and 8:00 a.m. on
school days."
SECTION 2. Material to be repealed is bracketed. New
material is underscored. In printing this ordinance, the
brackets, bracketed material, and underscoring need not be
included.
SECTION 3. If any provision of this ordinance or the
application thereof to any person or circumstance is held invalid,
such invalidity shall not affect other provisions or applications
of the ordinance which can be given effect without the invalid
provision or application, and to this end, the provisions of this
ordinance are declared to be severable.
SECTION 4. This ordinance shall take effect upon its
approval.
