AN ORDINANCE AMENDING THE COUNTY OF HAWAII GENERAL PLAN AS
ORIGINALLY ADOPTED BY ORDINANCE N0. 439 AND AS AMENDED BY
ORDINANCE NOS. 456, 475, 484 and 538.
BE IT ORDAINED BY,THE COUNCIL OF THE COUNTY OF HAWAII:
SECTION 1. The County of Hawaii General Plan Land Use
Pattern Allocation Guide Map is hereby amended to redesignate
approximately 675 acres of land, identified by Tax Map Key
7-2-04:05 and 16, located at Kukio, North Kona, Hawaii from
"Conservation" to Resort, Medium Density Urban, Low Density
Urban and Open.
SECTION 2. The County of Hawaii General Plan Land Use
element is hereby amended to include Kukio as an Intermediate
Resort area.
SECTION 3. If any provision of this ordinance or the
application thereof to any person or circumstance is held
invalid, the invalidity shall not affect other provisions or
applications of this ordinance which can be given effect
without the invalid provision or application, and to this end
the provisions of this ordinance are severable.
