AN ORDINANCE AMENDING CHAPTER 24, ARTICLE 10, OF THE HAWAII COUNTY
CODE 1983, kELATING TO TRAFFIC REGULATIONS.
bE IT ORDAINED BY THE COUNCIL OF THE COUNTY OF HAWAII:
SECTION 1. Chapter 24, article 10, division 1,
section 24-257, schedule 5, paragraph 31, Hawaii County Code 1983,
relating to 35 mile per hour speed limit zones, is amended to read
as follows:
"(31) Mamalahoa Highway (Route 11), from a
point approximately 1.1 mile east of the South
Point Road, to a point approximately 0.2 mile on
the Naalehu side of the sixty-[three] four mile
post."
SECTION 2. Material to be repealed is bracketed. New
material is underscored. In printing this ordinance, the
brackets, bracketed material and underscoring need not be included.
SECTION 3. If any provision of this ordinance, or the
application thereof to any person or circumstance is held invalid,
the invalidity does not affect other provisions or applications of
the ordinance which can be given effect without the invalid
provision or application, and to this end, the provisions of this
ordinance are severable.
