RE: Bill No. 244, Draft 2
This is to transmit Bill No. 244, Dram 2, which was the result of amendments made at the
Finance Committee meeting of May 2, 2000. The amendments included:
1. Changing section 19-75 (b) to read "...ophthalmologist, optometrist [or]2
otolaryngologist, or licensed ~pliysician, as the case maybe, on forms prescribed
by the department of finance."
2. Also, changing section 19-75 (d) to read "...performed by a [qualified] licensed
audiologist, ophthalmologist, optometrist, otolaryngologist, or licensed physician,
as the case may be, attesting to the continued impairment of sight, hearing, or
total disability."
