AN ORDINANCE A[~lENDIi4G OkDINANCE NO. 705 OF THE COUNTY OF HAWAII
ADOPTED ON AUGUST 19, 1981, AS AMENDED BY ORDINANCE NO. 830 ADOPTED
ON NOVEMBER 17, 1982, AS AMENDED BY ORDINANCE NO. 84-26 ADOPTED ON
JUNE 13, 1984, AS AMENDED BY ORDINANCE NO. 84-49 ADOPTED ON
AUGUST 22, 1984, RELATING TO GENERAL OBLIGATION BUNDS.
BE IT ORDAINED BY THE COUNCIL OF THE COUNTY OF HAWAII:
SECTION 1. Section 1 of Ordinance No. 709, as amended, is
amended to read as follows:
"SECTION 1. There are hereby authorized for issuance and sale
general obligation bonds of the County of Hawaii in the
principal amount of $5,000,000, the proceeds derived from the
sale of which shall be used to pay all or part of the cost of
appropriations for various public improvements of the County to
be financed from general obligation bond funds made (a) in the
capital budget ordinance for the fiscal year ending June 30,
1982 (Ordinance No. 696, as amended); (b) in the capital budget
ordinance for the fiscal year ending June 30, 1981 (Ordinance
No. 586, as amended; (c) in the capital budget ordinance for the
fiscal year ending June 30, 1980 (Ordinance No. 443, as
amended); (d) in the capital budget ordinance for the fiscal
year ending June 30, 1983 (Ordinance No. 796, as amended; (e) in
the capital budget ordinance for the fiscal year ending June 30,
1984 (Ordinance No. 896, as amended); (f) in the capital budget

ordinance for the fiscal year ending June 30, 1985 (Urdinance
No. 84-32, as amended); (g) in the capital budget ordinance for
the fiscal year endin June 30, 1987 (Ordinance No 85 64 as
amended) and (h) in the capital bud et ordinance for the fiscal
year ending June 30 1988 (Ordinance No 87-59, as amended)
including to repay funds borrowed from the General Fund pursuant
to Resolution No. 701 adopted on November 7, 1980, Resolution
No. 23-81 adopted on January 20, 1981, and Resolution No. 225-81
adopted on November 18, 1981, the proceeds of such borrowings
having heretofore been applied to pay the cost of public
improvements authorized to be financed from the proceeds of
bonds authorized hereby."
SECTION 2. New material is underscored. In printing this
ordinance, the underscoring need not be included.
SECTION 3. This ordinance shall take effect upon its approval.
