AN ORDINANCE Ah1ENDING CHAPTER 24, ARTICLE 10, OF THE HAWAII COUNTY
CGDE 1983, RELATItJG TU TRAFFIC REGliLATIONS.
BE IT ORDAINED BY THE COUNCIL OF THE COUNTY OF HAWAII:
SECTION 1. Chapter 24, article 10, section 24-275,
subsection (a), schedule 23, relating to bus stops, is amended to
reaa as follows:
"(22) Waianuenue Avenue, [Hamakua] Puna side, beginning from
a point [forty feet mauka of Kaiulani Street] eight hundred twelve
feet makai of Laimana Street and extending two hundred
[twenty-five] twelve feet in the [mauka] makai direction from
1:OG p.m. to 2:30 p.m. on school days."
SECTION 2. Chapter 24, article 10, section 24-287,
scnedule 35, relating to passenger loading zones, is amended to
reaa as follows:
"( ) Waianuenue Avenue, [Puna] Hamakua side, beginning at
a point [eight hundrea twelve feet makai of Laimana Streetj forty
feet mauka of Kaiulani Street and extending two hundred [twelve]
twenty-five feet in the [makai] mauka direction fror~i [7:15 a.m. to
8:00 a.m. and] 1:UU p.m. to 2:30 p.m. on school days."
SECTION 3. Material to be deleted is bracketed. New
material is underscores. In printing this ordinance, the
brackets, bracketed material, and underscoring need not be
included.
SECTION 4. If any provision of this ordinance or the
application thereof to any person or circumstance is held invalid,
suct, invalidity shall not affect other provisions or applications
of the ordinance which can be given effect without the invalid
provision or application, and to this end, the provisions of this
ordinance are declared to be severable.
SECTION 5. This ordinance shall take effect upon its
approval.
