AN ORDINANCE AMENDING CHAPTER 24, ARTICLE 10, DIVISION 5,
SECTION 24-281, OF THE HAWAII COUNTY CODE 1983, RELATING TO
TRAFFIC REGULATIONS.
BE IT ORDAINED BY THE COUNCIL OF THE COUNTY OF HAWAII:
SECTION 1. Chapter 24, article 10, division 5,

section 24-281, schedule 29, subsection (b), South Hilo,
paragraph (10), of the Hawaii County Code 1983, relating to
parking prohibited during certain hours on certain streets, is
amended to read as follows:
"(10) Lehua Street, Puna side, [in front of the Co-op Nursery
School from a point five feet mauka of the Lehua Apartments
driveway for a distance of forty feet toward Wainaku Avenue from
7:00 a.m. to 9:00 a.m. and 2:00 p.m. to 5:00 p.m. on school days.]
beginning at a point four hundred sixty-five feet makai of Wainaku
Street and extending forty feet toward Puueo Street from 7:00 a.m.
to 5:00 p.m. except Saturdays, Sundays, and holidays."
SECTION 2. Material to be repealed is bracketed. New
material is underscored. In printing this ordinance, the
brackets, bracketed material, and underscoring need not be
included.
SECTION 3. If any provision of this ordinance, or the
application thereof to any person or circumstance is held invalid,
such invalidity shall not affect other provisions or applications
of the ordinance which can be given effect without the invalid
provision or application, and to this end, the provisions of this
ordinance are declared to be severable.
