ORDINANCE NO. 90 013
AN ORDINANCE AMENDING CHAPTER 24, ARTICLE 10, OF THE HAWAII
COUNTY CODE 1983, RELATING TO TRAFFIC REGULATIONS.
BE IT ORDAINED BY THE COUNCIL OF THE COUNTY OF HAWAII:
SECTION 1. Chapter 24, article 10, division 5,
section 24-280, schedule 28, subsection (c) South Hilo, of the
Hawaii County Code 1983, relating to no parking at any time, is
amended by adding a new item to be appropriately numbered and to
read as follows:
"{ ) Ponahawai Street on the Hamakua side. Kinoole -
Street to Ululani Street."
SECTION 2. Chapter 24, article 10, division 5,
section 24-280, schedule 28, subsection (c) South Hilo, of the
Hawaii County Code 1983, as amended by Ordinance 88-37, relating
to no parking at any time, is further amended by deleting the
following un-numbered item:
"[( ) Ponahawai Street, Hamakua side, beginning at
Ululani Street and extending one hundred fifty feet in the makai
direction.]"
SECTION 3. New material is underscored. Material to be
deleted is bracketed. In printing this ordinance, the brackets,
bracketed material, and underscoring need not be included.
SECTION 4. If any provision of this ordinance or the
application thereof to any person or circumstances is held
invalid, such invalidity shall not affect other provisions or
applications of the ordinance which can be given effect without
the invalid provision or application, and to this end, the
provisions of this ordinance are declared to be severable.
SECTION 5. This ordinance shall take effect upon its
approval.
