ORDINANCE NO. 90 024
AN ORDINANCE AMENDING CHAPTER 24 (VEHICLES AND TRAFFIC), ARTICLE 10
OF THE HAWAII COUNTY CODE 1983, RELATING TO TRAFFIC REGULATIONS.
BE IT ORDAINED BY THE COUNCIL OF THE COUNTY OF HAWAII:
SECTION 1. Chapter 24, Article 10, division 5, section 24-280,
schedule 28, subsection (d) Kona, of the Hawaii County Code 1983,
relating to no parking at any time, is amended to read as follows:
"( ) Alii Drive, mauka side, [beginning at] Kamehameha III
Road [and extending two thousand three hundred feet in the northerly
direction towards Kailua Village] to Makolea Street."
"( ) Alii Drive, mauka side, beginning at [the 2.5 mile
marker and extending eight thousand one hundred feet in the
northerly direction] a point one-thousand five hundred fifty feet
north of Laaloa Avenue to Walua Road."
SECTION 2. Chapter 24, Article 10, division 5, section 24-280,
schedule 28, subsection (d) Kona, of the Hawaii County Code 1983,
relating to no parking at any time, is amended by adding the
following item to be appropriately numbered and to read as follows:
"( ) Alii Drive, mauka side, beginning at a point nine
hundred thirty five feet north of Makolea Street and extending to a
point one thousand eighty feet north of Laaloa Avenue."
SECTION 3. Material to be repealed is bracketed. New material
is underscored. In printing this ordinance, the brackets, bracketed
material, and underscoring need not be included.

SECTION 4. In the event that any portion of this ordinance is
declared invalid, such invalidity shall not affect the other parts
of this ordinance.
SECTION 5. This ordinance shall take effect upon its approval.
