ORDINANCE NO. ~~ 140
AN ORDINANCE AMENDING ORDINANCE NO. 90-75, AS AMENDED, RELATING TO
PUBLIC IMPROVEMENTS AND FINANCING THEREOF FOR THE FISCAL YEAR
JULY 1, 1990 TO JUNE 30, 1991.
WHEREAS, the following Capital Improvement appropriations for
the Ka'u district have been set forth in Ordinances 89-86 and 90-75:
Naalehu Park Grandstand Demolition $20,000
Naalehu Park Improvements 10,000
Naalehu Ball Park Restrooms 30,000
Naalehu Ball Park Fence 8,000
Naalehu Community Center 1,500
Pahala Ball Park Score Stand 2,500
Pahala Community Center 25,000
Waiohin u Park Soccer Goals 500; and
WHEREAS, it is desirable to provide for more flexibility in the
application of the funds for the various recreational needs of the
Ka'u district; and
4IHEREAS, said flexibility can be achieved by consolidation and
retitling of the above-mentioned projects.
BE IT ORDAINED BY THE, COUNCIL OF THE COUNTY OF HAWAII:
SECTION 1. Ordinance No. 90-75, as amended, is hereby amended
by repealing the following appropriations:
Naalehu Park Grandstand Demolition
Naalehu Park Improvements
Naalehu Ball Park Restrooms
DTaalehu Ball Park Fence
Naalehu Community Center
Pahala Ball Park Score Stand
Pahala Community Center
Waiohinu Park Soccer Goals
and, establishing the following appropriations:
Naalehu Parks and Community Center
Improvements
Pahala Ball Park and Community Center
Improvements
Waiohinu Park Improvements

SECTION 2. Funds for the aforementioned appropriations shall be
provided from the funds transferred from the General Fund for the
repealed projects delineated in Section 1.
SECTION 3. This ordinance shall take effect upon its approval.
