AN ORDINANCE AMENDING THE STATE LAND USE BOUNDARIES MAP, H-34
FOR THE COUNTY OF HAWAII, BY CHANGING THE DISTRICT
CLASSIFICATION FROM THE AGRICULTURAL TO THE URBAN DISTRICT AT
WAIKOEKOE AND KEAA, HAMAKUA, HAWAII, COVERED BY TAX MAP
KEY 4-8-01:PORTION OF 4 AND 4-8-06:PORTION OF 1.
BE IT ORDAINED BY THE COUNCIL OF THE COUNTY OF HAWAII:
SECTION 1. The State Land Use Boundaries Map, H-34 for
the County of Hawaii, is amended to change the district
classification of property described hereinafter as follows:
The district classification of the following area

situated at Waikoekoe and Keaa, Hamakua, Hawaii, shall be

PARCEL E:
Beginning at the Northeast corner of this parcel of land
along the top of the cliff. The coordinates of said point
of beginning referred to Government Survey Triangulation
Station "Puu Mauu North" being 10,562.68 feet North and
4,705.44 feet East, thence running by azimuths measured
clockwise from True South;
1. 312" 09' 00" 107.14 feet along the remainder
of Grant 1772;
2. 346' 53' 00" 174.00 feet along the remainder
of Grant 1772;
3. 250 46' 00" 340.00 feet along the remainder
of Grant 1772;
4. 30 10' 00" 395.19 feet along the remainder
of Grant 1772;
5. Along a curve to the right with a radius of
225.00 feet, the direct
chord azimuth and distance
being:
83° 51' 30" 444.07 feet;
6. 1640 33' 00" 218.69 feet along the remainder
of Grant 1772;
7. Along a curve to the left with a radius of
200.00 feet, the direct
chord azimuth and distance
being:
124' 58' 00" 254.88 feet;
8. 850 23' 00" 116.22 feet along the remainder
of L. C. Aw. 8559-B Ap. 2;
9. 163' 12' 00" 260.00 feet along the same to the
top of the cliff;
10. Along the top of the cliff in all its winding to the
point of beginning, the
direct azimuth and
distance being:
247' 31' 16" 1,028.50 feet
and containing an area of
15.000 acres. (Refer to
Parcel "E" as shown on
Exhibit"A".)
All as shown on the map attached hereto, marked
Exhibit "A" and by reference made a part hereof.
SECTION 2. In the event that any portion of this
ordinance is declared invalid, such invalidity shall not affect
the other parts of this ordinance.

SECTION 3. This ordinance shall take effect upon its
approval.
