Bi11276: Amends Chapter 19, of the Hawaii County Code 1983 (1995 Edition),
(Draft 2) relating to Real Property Taxes.
{Add a new section to establish a method of valuation of the property
of public utilities to enable the County to collect real property taxes
from said utilities. Includes provisions relating to: the permissive use
of values set forth in annual financial reports to the Public Utilities
Commission; definitions; the use of the market approach to determine
land values; real property comprising and outside plants; treatment of
outside plant property with regard to liens and foreclosure. }

FINANCIAL Monthly Financial Status Report for the month ended June 30, 2000.
REPORT:
PWPC Rept. 114: The Committee of Public Works & Parks recommends the approval of
(C-877) the nominations to the Hawaii County Veterans Advisory Committee
of Louis Kaoiwi to serve a term ending December 31, 2005, and
Shigeru Ushijima to serve a term ending December 31, 2000.
FC Rept. 318: The Committee on Finance is in accord with the purpose and intent of
(C-878) Communication No. 878 and recommends the approval of the
2001 HSCA Legislative Policy Statement.
REFERRALS FOR EXECUTIVE SESSION
(The purpose of the meeting is to consult with Corporation Counsel relating to matters involving
potential County liability, as authorized by Sections 92-4 and 92-5, HRS.)
