ORDINANCE NO. 93 18
AN ORDINANCE AMENDING ORDINANCE NO. 92-74, AS AMENDED, RELATING TO
PUBLIC IMPROVEMENTS AND FINANCING THEREOF FOR THE FISCAL YEAR
JULY 1, 1992 TO JUNE 30, 1993.
BE IT ORDAINED BY THE COUNCIL OF THE COUNTY OF HAWAII:
SECTION 1. Purpose. The purpose of this ordinance is to
authorize the use of the fuel tax fund for the purposes of acquiring
the necessary radii for the improvements of the Kaumana Drive/Ainako
Avenue Intersection traffic signal improvements. Funds may also be
used to conduct an appraisal, title search and related research to
determine fair market value of the proposed acquisition area.
SECTION 2. Section 3 of Ordinance No. 92-74, as amended, is
amended by adding Kaumana Drive/Ainako Avenue Intersection
Improvement as a project within the South Hilo Fuel Tax District.
SECTION 3. Funds for this project shall be provided from the
fuel tax funds appropriated for the South Hilo district.
SECTION 4. This ordinance shall take effect upon its approval.
