ORDINANCE NO. 93 95
AN ORDINANCE AMENDING CHAPTER 24, ARTICLE 10, OF THE HAWAII
COUNTY CODE 1983, AS AMENDED RELATING TO TRAFFIC REGULATIONS.
BE IT ORDAINED BY THE COUNCIL OF THE COUNTY OF HAWAII:
SECTION 1. Chapter 24, article 10, section 24-272,

schedule 20 of the Hawaii County Code 1983 as amended, relating
to prohibited right turn areas, is amended to read as follows:
Section 24-272 Reserved. [Schedule 20. Prohibited right
turn areas.
(1) When traffic signal indicates red on Manono Street
into Kamehameha Avenue.]
SECTION 2. Chapter 24, article 10, section 24-288,
schedule 36 relating to freight loading zones is amended by
deleting subsection (19) as follows with the remaining
subsections to be appropriately re-numbered.
[(19) Manono Street, Hamakua side, beginning from a point
one hundred forty-five mauka of Kamehameha Avenue and extending
forty-five feet in the mauka direction, twenty-four hours a day,
including Sundays and holidays.]
SECTION 3. Material to be repealed is bracketed. New
material is underscored. In printing this ordinance, the
brackets, bracketed material and underscoring need not be
included.
SECTION 4. If any provision of this ordinance or the
application thereof to any person or circumstance is held
invalid, such invalidity shall not affect other provisions or
applications of the ordinance which can be given effect without
the invalid provision or application, and to this end, the
provisions of this ordinance are declared to be severable.
SECTION 5. This ordinance shall take effect upon its
approval.
