AN ORDINANCE AMENDING CHAPTER 24, ARTICLE 10, HAWAII COUNTY CODE
1983, AS AMENDED, RELATING TO TRAFFIC REGULATIONS.
BE IT ORDAINED BY THE COUNCIL OF THE COUNTY OF HAWAII:
SECTION 1. Chapter 24, article 10, section 24-257,
schedule 5 of the Hawaii County Code 1983 as amended, relating
to 35 mile-per-hour speed limits, is amended by deleting
subsection (7) as follows with the remaining subsections to be
appropriately re-numbered.
[(7) Hilo Country Club Drive.]
SECTION 2. Chapter 24, article 10, section 24-254,
schedule 2 of the Hawaii County Code as amended, relating to
20 mile-per-hour speed limits is amended by adding a new
section, to be appropriately numbered and to read as follows:
~Z Hilo Country Club Drive.
SECTION 2. Material to be repealed is bracketed. New
material is underscored. In printing this ordinance, the
brackets, bracketed material and underscoring need not be
included.
SECTION 4. If any provision „~ i~hiz ,,: +___c.~?ca or the
application thereof to any person or circumstance is held
invalid, such invalidity shall not affect other provisions or
applications of the ordinance which can be given effect without
the invalid provision or application, and to this end, the
provisions of this ordinance are declared to be severable.
SECTION 5. This Ordinance shall take effect upon its
approval.
