ORDINANCE NO. 94 9
AN ORDINANCE AMENDING CHAPTER 24, ARTICLE 10, SECTION 24-280(0),
OF THE HAWAII COUNTY CODE 1983, RELATING TO TRAFFIC REGULATIONS.
BE IT ORDAINED HY THE COUNCIL OF THE COUNTY OF HAWAII:
SECTION 1. Chapter 24, article 10, section 24-280(c),
schedule 28, of~the Hawaii County Code 1983, relating to no
parking at any time in South Hilo, is amended by adding the
following item to be appropriately numbered and to read as
follows:
( ) Ponahawai Street, from Kinoole Street to a point
seventy five feet mauka of Ululani Street.
SECTION 2. Chapter 24, article 10, section 24-280(c)
relating to no parking at any time in South Hilo, is amended by
deleting subsections 113, 128, 129, 130 and 132, with the
remaining subsections being appropriately renumbered:
[(113) Ponahawai Street, Puna side, from Kinoole Street
extending mauka for a distance of two hundred feet.]
[(128) Ponahawai Street, both sides beginning at Ululani
Street and extending seventy five feet in the mauka
direction.]
[(129) Ponahawai Street, on the Hamakua side, Kinoole
Street to Ululani Street.]
[ (130) PonaY.a.:o ~ :, ~~aat, :'ua~ side, beginning at L~:.;il~ai
Street and extending ninety feet in the makai direction.]
[(.132) Ponahawai Street, Puna side, beginning at Ululani
Street and extending ninety feet in the makai direction.]
SECTION 3. Material to be repealed is bracketed. New
material is underscored. In printing this ordinance the
brackets, bracketed material and underscoring need not be
included.
SECTION 4. If any provision of this ordinance or the
application thereof to any person or circumstance is held
invalid, such invalidity shall not affect other provisions or
applications of the ordinance which can be given effect without
the invalid provision or application, and to this end, the
provisions of this ordinance are declared to be severable.
SECTION 5. This ordinance shall take effect upon its
approval.
