ORDINANCE NO. 94 49
AN ORDINANCE AMENDING CHAPTER 24, ARTICLE 10, OF THE HAWAII COUNTY
CODE 1983, RELATING TO TRAFFIC REGULATIONS.
HE IT ORDAINED BY THE COUNCIL OF THE COUNTY OF HAWAII:
SECTION 1. Chapter 24, article 10, section 24-286(a),
schedule 34, of the Hawaii County Code, relating to no stopping,
stand, or parking areas in South Hilo, is amended by adding a new
item to be appropriately numbered and to read as follows:
( ) Kapiolani Street on the makai side Haili re t to
Waianuenue Avenue between 7.15 a m and 8.00 a m on chool davs
SECTION 2. Chapter 24, article 10, section 24-287,
schedule 35, of the Hawaii County Code, relating to passenger
loading zones is amended by adding a new item to be appropriately
numbered and to read as follows:
( ) Kapiolani Street on the mauka side beainnina at a
point two hundred ninety feet in the Hamakua direc ion of Haili
Street and extending one hundred thirty-two feet in the Hamakua
direction between 7:15 a.m. and 8.00 a m on school days
SECTION 3. New material is underscored. In printing this
ordinance, underscoring need not be included.
SECTION 4. If any provision of this ordinance, or the
application thereof to any person or circumstance, is held
invalid, such invalidity shall not affect other provisions or
applications of the ordinance which can be given effect without
the invalid provision or application, and to this end, the
provisions of this ordinance are declared to be severable.
SECTION 5. This ordinance shall take effect upon its
approval.
