AN ORDINANCE AMENDING THE STATE LAND USE BOUNDARIES MAP, H-34
FOR THE COUNTY OF HAWAII, BY CHANGING THE DISTRICT
CLASSIFICATION FROM THE AGRICULTURAL TO THE URBAN DISTRICT AT
KANAHONUA AND WAIKOEKOE, HAMAKUA, HAWAII, COVERED BY TAX MAP
KEYS 4-8-06:PORTION OF 43 AND PORTION OF 44.
BE IT ORDAINED BY THE COUNCIL OF THE COUNTY OF HAWAII:
SECTION 1. The State Land Use Boundaries Map, H-34 for
the County of Hawaii, is amended to change the district
classification of properties described hereinafter as follows:
The district classification of the following area
situated at Kanahonua, Hamakua, Hawaii, shall be Urban:
LOT 4:
Beginning at the Southeasterly corner of this parcel of
land along the Northerly side of the Honokaa-Waipio Road
being along the Westerly side of Land Commission Award
8559-B, Apana 2 to William C. Lunalilo, the coordinates of
said point of beginning referred to Government Survey
Triangulation Station "PW MAUU NORTH", being
6,404.05 feet North and 1,239.40 feet East, thence running
by azimuths measured clockwise from True South:

land being the Northeasterly corner of Lot A along the
Southerly side of the Old Government Main Road to Waipio,
the coordinates of said point of beginning referred to
Government Survey Triangulation Station "PW MAW NORTH"
being 7,272.24 feet North and 1,429.16 feet East, thence
running by azimuths measured clockwise from True South:
1. 264° 40' 00" 121.66 feet along the Southerly
side of the Old Government
Road to Waipio;

middle of the stream;

All as shown on the map attached hereto, marked
Exhibit "A" and by reference made a part hereof.
SECTION 2. In the event that any portion of this
ordinance is declared invalid, such invalidity shall not affect
the other parts of this ordinance.
SECTION 3. This ordinance shall take effect upon its
approval.
