ORDINANCE NO. 94 129
AN ORDINANCE AMENDING CHAPTER 24, ARTICLE 10, SECTION 24-288, OF
THE HAWAII COUNTY CODE 1983, AS AMENDED, RELATING TO TRAFFIC
REGULATIONS.
BE IT ORDAINED BY THE COUNCIL OF THE COUNTY OF HAWAII:
SECTION 1. Chapter 24, article 10, section 24-288,
schedule 36, of the Hawaii County Code, relating to freight
loading zones, is amended by amending item (25) to read as
follows:
(25) Punahoa Street, makai side, [Puueo of Mamo Street,
five feet) from Mamo Street to a point 61 feet in the Hamakua
direction.
SECTION 2. Chapter 24, article 10, section 24-288,
schedule 36, of the Hawaii County Code, relating to freight
loading zones is amended by adding a new subsection to be
appropriately numbered and to read as follows:
"( ) Kamehameha Avenue, mauka side. from Mamo Street to a
point 60 feet in the Hamakua direction, from 5 a.m. to 4 p.m., on
Wednesdays and Saturdays."
SECTION 3. Chapter 24, article 10, section 24-288,
schedule 36 of the Hawaii County Code, relating to freight zones
is amended by adding a new subsection to be appropriately
numbered and to read as follows:
"( ) Mamo Street, both sides, from Kamehameha Avenue to
Punahoa Street, from 5 a.m. to 4 p.m., on Wednesdays and
Saturdays."
SECTION 4. Material to be repealed is bracketed. New
material is underscored. In printing this ordinance, the
brackets, bracketed material and underscoring need not be
included.
SECTION 5. Severability. If any provision of this
ordinance, or the application thereof to any person or
circumstance, is held invalid, the invalidity does not affect
other provisions or applications of the ordinance which can be
given effect without the invalid provision or application, and to
this end the provisions of this ordinance are severable.
SECTION 6. This ordinance shall take effect upon its
approval.
