ORDINANCE NO. qS ~#,O
AN ORDINANCE AMENDING CHAPTER 24, ARTICLE 10, OF THE HAWAII
COUNTY CODE 1983, AS AMENDED, RELATING TO TRAFFIC REGULATIONS.
BE IT ORDAINED BY THE COUNCIL OF THE COUNTY OF HAWAII:
SECTION 1. Chapter 24, article 10, division 2, section
24-271, schedule 19, of the Hawaii County Code, relating to
prohibited left turns, is amended by deleting the following items:
(6) [Keawe Street at Kalakaua Street for Puna
bound traffic from 9:00 a.m. to 5:00 p.m. daily except
Sundays and holidays.]
(13) [Wailuku Drive at Kinoole Street.]
SECTION 2. Chapter 24, article 10, division 3, section
24-275, schedule 23, subsection (a) South Hilo, of the Hawaii
County Code, relating to bus stop locations is amended by
deleting the following item:
(7) [Kinoole Street, makai side, beginning from
a point ten feet Puna, of the Puna side, of the
Puna-end entrance of Hawaiian Telephone Company
parking lot and extending in the Hamakua direction for
a distance of one hundred ninety-five feet, from
6:00 a. to 6:00 p.m., Monday through Saturday.]
SECTION 3. Chapter 24, article 10, division 5, section
24-280, schedule 28, subsection (c) South Hilo, of the Hawaii
County Code, relating to no parking at anytime, is amended by
deleting the following item:
(76) [Kinoole Street, makai side, between
Kalakaua Street and Waianuenue Avenue.]
SECTION 4. Chapter 24, article 10, division 6,
section 24-288, schedule 36, of the Hawaii County Code 1983,
relating to freight loading zones, is amended by adding a new
item to be appropriately numbered and to read as follows:
SECTION 5. New material is underscored. Material to be
repealed is bracketed. In printing this ordinance, the brackets,
bracketed material and underscoring need not be included.
SECTION 6. Severability. If any provision of this
ordinance, or the application thereof to any person or
circumstance, is held invalid, the invalidity does not affect
other provisions or applications of the ordinance which can be
given effect without the invalid provision or application, and to
this end the provisions of this ordinance are severable.
SECTION 7. This ordinance shall take effect upon its
approval.
