ORDINANCE NO. 95 71
AN ORDINANCE AMENDING CHAPTER 24, ARTICLE 10, OF THE HAWAII COUNTY
CODE 1983, RELATING TO TRAFFIC REGULATIONS.
BE IT ORDAINED BY THE COUNCIL OF THE COUNTY OF HAWAIL
SECTION 1. Chapter 24, article 10, division 1, section 24-258, schedule 6, of the
Hawaii County Code 1983, relating to 35 mile per hour speed limit is amended by adding a new
item to be appropriately numbered and to read as follows:
"( 1 Akolea Road_ from Waianuenue Avenue to Haleloke Street "
SECTION 2. Chapter 24, article 10, division 1, section 24-255, schedule 3, of the
Hawaii County Code 1983, relating to 25 mile per hour speed limit is amended by adding a new
item to be appropriately numbered and to read as follows:
`Y ZAkolea Road. from Haleloke Street to Kaumana Drive."
SECTION 3. New material is underscored. In printing this ordinance, the underscoring
need not be included.
SECTION 4. If any provision of this ordinance, or the application thereof to any person
or circumstance, is held invalid, such invalidity shall not affect other provisions or applications
of the ordinance which can be given effect without the invalid provision or application, and to
this end, the provisions of this ordinance are declared to be severable.
SECTION 5. This ordinance shall take effect upon its approval.
