HomeMy WebLinkAboutORD 1995-120 1994-1996COUNTY OF HAWAIi_.~~~`~~ATE OF HAWAII BILL NO. 1 a o ORDINANCE NO. 95 12a AN ORDINANCE AMENDING CHAPTER 24 (TRAFFIC SCHEDULE), OF THE HAWAII COUNTY CODE 1983, AS AMENDED, RELATING TO TRAFFIC REGULATIONS. BE IT ORDAINED BY THE COUNCIL OF THE COUNTY OF HAWAII: SECTION 1. Chapter 24, article 10, division 2, section 24-267, schedule 15 (one way streets), of the Hawaii County Code, is amended by adding a new item to be appropriately numbered and to read as follows: Kaumana Drive. SECTION 2. Chapter 24, article 10, division 2, section 24-267, schedule 15 (one way streets), of the Hawaii County Code, is amended by deleting the following items: (23) [Punahele Street. All vehicular traffic shall move only from makai to mauka between Halai Street and Kaumana Drive between the hours of 7:15 a.m. to 8:00 a.m. on school days.] SECTION 3. Chapter 24, article 10, division 2, section 24-267(25), of the Hawaii County Code, is amended to read as follows: (25) Waianuenue Avenue. All vehicular traffic shall move [only from mauka to]in the makai direction from [between Kaumana Drive]Komohana Street to[and] Kamehameha Avenue between the hours of 7:15 a.m. and 8:00 a.m. on school days. SECTION 4. Chapter 24, article 10, division 2, section 24-269, schedule 17 (right turns only), of the Hawaii County Code, is amended by adding new items to be appropriately numbered and to read as follows: Lj, Punahele Street, mauka bound at Kaumana Drive. on1v. SECTION 5. New material is underscored. Material to be repealed is bracketed. In printing this ordinance, the brackets, bracketed material and underscoring need not be included. SECTION 6. If any provision of this ordinance, or the application thereof to any person or circumstance, is held invalid, such invalidity shall not affect other provisions or applications of the ordinance which can be given effect without the invalid provision or application, and to this end, the provisions of this ordinance are declared to be severable. SECTION 7.
