ORDINANCE NO.
AN ORDINANCE AMENDING THE STATE LAND USE BOUNDARIES MAP, H-67 FOR
THE COUNTY OF HAWAII, BY CHANGING THE DISTRICT CLASSIFICATION FROM
THE AGRICULTURAL TO THE URBAN DISTRICT AT OLAA, PUNA, HAWAII,
COVERED BY TAX MAP KEY 1-7-3:17.
BE IT ORDAINED BY THE COUNCIL OF THE COUNTY OF HAWAII:
SECTION 1. The State Land Use Boundaries Map, H-67 for the County of Hawaii, is
amended to change the district classification of property described hereinafter as follows:
The district classification of the following azea situated at Olaa, Puna, Hawaii,
shall be Urban:
Beginning at a pipe in concrete at the East comer of this pazcel of land, being the
South corner of Portion of Lot 55 and on the Northwesterly side of Volcano Road, F.A.P.
No. F-2(4), the coordinates of said point of beginning referred to Government Survey
Triangulation Station "OLAA" being 3,030.02 feet South and 1,464.47 feet West, thence
running by azimuths measured clockwise from True South:
1. 42° 15' 60.22 feet along Volcano Road, F.A.P.
No. F-2(4) to a pipe in concrete;
Thence along Volcano Road, F.A.P.
No. F-2(4), along a curve to the left
with a radius of 1,949.95 feet, the
chord azimuth and distance being;
2. 39° 45' 170.11 feet to a pipe in concrete;
Thence along the same on a curve
left with a radius of 1,472.40 feet,
the chord azimuth and distance
being;
3. 36° OS' 04" 59.90 feet to a pipe in concrete;
4. 40° 43' 193.77 feet along Volcano Road F.A.P.
No. F-2(4) to a on concrete post;
5. 109° 07' 657.68 feet along portions of Lot 53,
Grant 4840 to Joseph Keahilihau to a
pipe in concrete;
6. 214° 56' 628.10 feet along Lot 57, Grant 4991 to
Aimoku to a pipe in concrete;
7. 302° 08' 676.29 feet along portion of Lot 55 to the
point ofbeginning and containing an
azea of 8.273 acres, more or less.
All as shown on the map attached hereto, mazked Exhibit "A" and by reference
made a part hereof.
SECTION 2. In the event that any portion of this ordinance is declazed invalid, such
invalidity shall not affect the other parts of this ordinance.
SECTION 3. This ordinance shalt take effect upon its approval.
