SUBJECT: Withdrawal of Bill 96
I hereby request that Bill 96 be withdrawn. Bill 96 was drafted to amend the Hawaii County Code,
relating to the International Energy Conservation Code (IECC), as adopted via Ordinance No. 09-48.
Ordinance No. 09-48 does not go into effect until May 11, 2010. Thus, Bill 96 should have amended
Ordinance No. 09-48, rather than the County Code.
A bill to amend Ordinance No. 09-48, to the same effect as Bill 96, is forthcoming.
