Your Committee on Planning, to which was referred Communication No. 370, reports as
follows:
Communication No. 370, transmitted by Mayor Billy Kenoi, dated May 19, 2009, submits for
confirmation the appointment of Mr. Wayne K. Iokepa and Mr. Brandi K. Beaudet to the County
of Hawaii Leeward Planning Commission.
Council Member Brenda Ford moved to divide the question.
Mr. Iokepa stated that he will bring cultural awareness to the Commission.
Your Committee on Planning is in accord with Mayor Kenoi's nomination to the Leeward
Planning Commission, and recommends confirmation of the appointment of Mr. Wayne K.
Iokepa to the Hawaii County Leeward Planning Commission.
Mr. Iokepa's presence before the full Council was waived.
