Your Committee on Planning, to which was referred Communication No. 371, reports as
follows:
Communication No. 371, transmitted by Mayor Billy Kenoi, dated May 19, 2009, submits for
confirmation the appointment of Mr. Christopher A. Manfredi to the County of Hawaii
Windward Planning Commission.
Several members of the Ka'u community testified in support of Mr. Manfredi's nomination.
Your Committee on Planning is in accord with Mayor Kenoi's nomination to the Windward
Planning Commission, and recommends confirmation of the appointment of Mr. Christopher A.
Manfredi to the Hawaii County Windward Planning Commission.
Mr. Manfredi's presence before the full Council was waived.
