RE: THE 2009-2010 BUDGET
Chairman J. Yoshimoto,
As Chairman of the Hawai'i Chapter of SHOPO, I regret that due to conflicting
schedules, I will not be able to attend and testify at the Budget hearing scheduled
for May 20, 2009.
After having reviewed the purposed Budget, the Hawaii Chapter of SHOPO
would like to submit this letter as written testimony in support of the 2009-2010
Budget which has been submitted by Mayor Billy Kenoi to our Hawai'I County
Council for approval which includes suspending the 2% Open Space Land fund.
We encourage the Hawai'I County Council to approve Mayor Kenoi's proposed
2009-2010 County Budget.
