Subject: 2% land fund
I am contacting you to voice my opposition to the proposed suspension of the 2% land fund. Open spaces are
irreplaceable. Hawaii is a treasure of beautiful natural places. I was heartened by the passage of the 2% land
fund as I feel Hawaiian lands should be protected from the unending forward march of development to whatever
degree is possible. The people of our island voted for the land fund, so please listen to our voices.
