Subject: OPPOSITION to Resolution 201-09
Aloha Mr. Chair and members of the County Council:
Thank you for your hard work and willingness to serve on the County Council.
In your statements while campaigning for re-election, you emphasized that you would seek
to represent all of our County. You also emphasized attention to economic issues.
Keeping our veteran, experienced lawmakers as chairs of their current committees would
help this during the current year.
In the future, changes can help keep committees invigorated, changes that are made
judiciously to keep both east and west Hawaii represented in committee leadership.
With respectful appreciation of this, as one of your constituents, I am OPPOSED to
Resolution 201-09.
I respectfully ask that you vote AGAINST Resolution 200-09.
